Paula Marie Sutton Snow, 46, wife of John James Snow, IV, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 in a Florence hospital.

Paula was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of George and Mary Dixon Sutton. A graduate of Hemingway High School, Coastal Carolina University and Cambridge University, where she received her Master's Degree. She began her career at Hemingway Elementary School and is presently at Johnsonville Elementary School as a first-grade teacher. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church, a Sunday school teacher and a life long member of the Girl Scouts of America where she earned the Gold Award. She was very involved with church, school activities, and her Bible study group.

Surviving are her husband, John James Snow, IV; parents George and Mary Sutton; son Grainger Walker Snow; sisters, Robin (Jamie) Altman; Sally (Ronnie) Coker, and Mary Adele (Zan) Tomlinson; nieces and nephews, Drew and Erin Altman, Eli and Mazie Tomlinson, Blair and Brady Russell Coker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Union United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the service in the Union United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 8206 Rose Hill Road, Georgetown, SC 29440.

The family will also receive friends at the home of George and Mary Sutton, 102 Morris Circle, Hemingway, SC 29554.

Memorials may be made to the Union United Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Box 580, Hemingway, SC 29554.
