Penny Poston Phillips, 49, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, in a Florence hospital.

Penny was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late Therrell and Catherine Howell Poston. She worked as an activities director for the City of Florence and was a member of Mill Branch Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Ethan (Rachael) Poston, and Aven Glover; sisters, Paige (Michael) Lambert, and Monica (Neal) Elliott; nieces and nephews, Renzley Lambert, Tucker Lambert, Courtney Elliott, and Cory Elliott; and a great-niece, Ella Kate Johnson.

Memorial services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at 11AM on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Mill Branch Free Will Baptist Church, 244 Evans Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555. Burial will be private.
