Phyllis Wallace Cooper, 63, widow of Freddie G. Cooper, passed away on Friday September 20, 2024 in MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Phyllis was born in Monroe NC, a daughter of late James and Sarah Myrtle Johnson Wallace. She enjoyed listening to the radio and watching the sun set. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends, family and her dog, Bubbles.

She is survived by her sons, Jason (Melissa) Cooper and Michael (Stacie Poston) Wallace; 5 grandchildren and a brother and sister, Charles Wallace and Patsy Wallace; dear friends, Jethro and Tina Belin.

She was predeceased by a son, Freddie DeWayne Cooper, 3 sisters and 1 brother; and her life partner, Marcus Rodriguez, who passed away on September 4, 2024 at their home.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date by Morris Funeral Home, Inc of Hemingway.
