Renell Bazen Thompson Hanna, 76, passed away November 2, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Renell was born in Pamplico, SC the daughter of the late Gorie and Lizzie Day Altman Bazen. She graduated from Hannah High School, was a member of Word of Life Church, enjoyed camping and cooking out with family and friends.

Surviving are her husband, Cecil Hanna; children Juanita (Ricky) Lyerly, Cindy (Kevin) Powell, Sandy (Karen) Thompson, and Sharon (Phillip) Cockfield; step children, Sharon (Kelly) Edwards and Delwynn Hanna; brothers, Jimmy Bazen, and Barry (June) Bazen; sister, Debra Lynn Bazen; grandchildren, Sheena, Ross, Chris, Chelsey (Tyler) Nicholson, Jarrod, Joshua, Ricky, Cody, Kacie, Abigail, and Alijah; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Landon, Katilyn, Dawson, and Brandon; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a step-daughter, April Nations; brother, Garlyn Bazen; sister, Eunia Bell Gaskins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 5, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 860 Lake Chapel Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM Sunday, November 4, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home, 416 N. Main St. Hemingway, SC 29554.
