Rhetta Moore Powell, 80, widow of Leo Junior Powell, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Rhetta was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Quincy Moore Sr. and Louise Powers Moore. She was a homemaker, of the Pentecostal Faith, and she enjoyed working with her flowers and doing word search puzzles.
Surviving are her children, Dennis Leo (Lorie) Powell, Marilyn Powell French, Mary Ann (Jason) Stone and Anthony Powell; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Quincy (Agnes) Moore, Jr. and Capus (Eula Mae) Moore; sisters, Edephel McDaniel and Bessie Cooper.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 2, 2018 in the Old Field Cemetery, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery, 19761 Choppee Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
