Richard O'Neil Bolyn, 73, passed away May 30, 2020 in a Florence hospital.

Mr. Richard was born in Hemingway, SC a son of the late Alfred O'Neil and Ruth Wall Bolyn. He was retired from working at the Locker Plant as a meat cutter and manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising beagle puppies in his spare time.

Mr. Richard is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Mike) Powell; grandson, Tyler Powell; and granddaughters, Megan Powell and Abigail Morlang.

He was predeceased by his son, Bryan Bolyn.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 3 PM in the Poplar Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 2380 South State Highway 41/51, Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at Morris Funeral Home, 416 North Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.
