Richard William Joye, 52, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at his home.

Richard was born in Georgetown, SC, a son of the late Richard Lee and Annie Carpenter Joye. He worked as a meat cutter for KJ's Market in Johnsonville since 2011 and he also enjoyed fishing and working.

He is survived by a brother, James Joye; sisters, Jeanette Brown, Kathy (Kevin) Miller, and Gaynell Ram, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Lee Joye and Michael Joye and a sister, Arlene Carpenter.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, September 3, 2022 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel 416 N. Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM till 1 PM prior to the service.
