Robert Wayne "Bobby" Cox, 68, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Bobby was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Blondon and Lois Hyman Cox. He was a retired farmer and a member of Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He was a 1970 graduate of Hemingway High School, 1972 graduate of Emmanuel College and 1975 graduate of Francis Marion University with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, loved planting and watching the crops grow, but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially the grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Paula Weese Cox; daughters, Lindsay C. (Joseph) White, Marcia C. (Bradley) Bazen, and Paige C. (Derrick) Nettles; grandchildren, Taylor C. (Liston) Calcutt, Michael R. (Alana) Crisp, Hunter V. (Melody) Bazen, Wyatt D. Bazen, Claudia Joy Nettles, Jack W. White, and Lyndon J. White; step grandchildren, Ryan (Brooke) White and Jeana (Jarrett) Morris; sisters, Sandra C. (William) Tanner and Lynn C. (David) Benton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 15, 2020 in the Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church., Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery, 860 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in the Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1573 Cowhead Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Missionary Dunning in Kenya, Africa c/o Ron Aultman 883 N. Main St. Hemingway, SC 29554.
