Ronnie Dwain Scott, 84, husband of Ednetta Owens Scott, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Ronnie was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Lucius and Eulene Eaddy Scott. He worked for over 40 years in the furniture industry as a sales representative and was a member of the Hemingway First United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed boating and fishing but most of all he loved spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 41years, Ednetta Owens Scott; children, Jeff Scott and Geneane Bone; sister, Sylvia (Johnny) Joye: grandchildren, Bailey (David) King, Christian Scott, Kendahl Bone, Lauren Bone, and Libbie Roberts; step daughters, Danette (Rick) Foshee, Yvette (Glenn) Gleason, and Suzette (Ron) Coker; step grandchildren, Ross Foshee, Mallory Foshee, Jake Gleason, Rhett Gleason, Dalton Coker, and Gracie Coker; great-grandchild, Maddox Lee; nephew, Scott Joye.

He was predeceased by a son, Russell D. Scott;

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in the Hemingway First United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in the Hemingway First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Broad St., Hemingway, SC 29554.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hemingway First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 6 Hemingway, SC, 29554 or Amedisys Hospice, 500 Pamplico Hwy, Suite D Florence SC, 29505.
