Rudy Carroll Cook, 78, widower of Sybil Tanner Cook, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, in a Florence hospital.

Mr. Rudy was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Robert Moultrie "Sonny Buck" Cook and the late Leola Hanna Cook. He was retired from Tupperware and farming, a member of the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher but above all else he loved his Lord, his church, and his family.

He loved hunting and was a Master Mason in the Leo Lodge # 310.

He is survived by his children, Scott (Sherrie) Cook, Hope C. (Betsy Brem) Wise, Julie C. (Chris) Smith, Corey (Michelle) Cook, Annie C. (Quinn) Smith, and Justin (Sydney) Cook; sisters, Debbie Hanna and Iva Jo Orr; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Alcyone C. Tompkins.

Funeral services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, October 30, 2022, in the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, with Masonic Rites, will be in the Cook Family Cemetery, 2484 Hanna Lake Rd., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM in the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church, 211 Half Moon Rd., Lake City, SC 29560.
