Pamplico, SC

Samuel Lloyd Cooper, 89, widower of Wildred Calcutt Cooper, passed away Saturday August 12, 2017 at the McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Lloyd was born in Pamplico, SC a son of the late Clinton and Ollie Jones Cooper.
He was an automobile Body Technician and was a faithful member of the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church. He loved fishing, cutting his grass, and going to church.

Surviving are his children, Cecil (Janice) Cooper, Deborah (Ernie) Johnson, and Ricky (Diane) Cooper; brother, Hardy (Caroline) Cooper; sisters, Shelby Lewis and Zelphia (Legette) Robertson; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson; a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, August 14, 2017 in the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 in the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, 4221 Sheminally Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
