Hemingway, SC
Sara Ashley Hosenfeld Pyles, 29, the beloved mother of "Mahala Jane", went home to be with the Lord on the early morning of March 6, 2018 in Charleston, SC.
Sara was reared in a loving Christian home by her parents Timothy and Wendy Hosenfeld. In this wonderful home, she would make her very first friend, her brother, Benjamin.
It is impossible to describe the dynamic personality of Sara in just a small space. She was a strong Christian Woman. She lived a life in which she was committed to God, her family and friends, and the community. She was a loving and caring soul. She would give you anything that she had and would go the ends of the earth to make sure that you were comfortable and felt like the most special person in the world.
This compassionate spirit poured over to her professional life where she was a Registered Nurse at McLeod Regional Hospital. Sara was just as smart as she was beautiful. She was a proud graduate and 2006 Valedictorian of Carvers Bay High School and she continued her education of higher learning as a graduate of the College of Charleston and Horry-Georgetown Tech. as a Registered Nurse. Sara loved life. She was sassy, independent, strong willed, highly successful, caring, compassionate, and yes opinionated.
Sara blessed the lives of so many, and their lives are brighter because she was a part of their world. She is survived by her daughter, Mahala Janet Pyles; parents, Timothy and Wendy Hosenfeld; brother, Benjamin (Lindsey) Hosenfeld; paternal grandmother, Jean Hosenfeld (Bob) Tripp; niece, Elaina Grace Hosenfeld; nephew, Collin Powell; many special aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Elbert and Evelyn Richardson and her paternal grandfather, Robert E. Hosenfeld.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Williams Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2018 in the Williams Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 86 Williams Hill Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
