Sarah Ellen Eaddy Thompson, 81, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at a Kingstree nursing home.

Sarah was born in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late Martin Spencer Eaddy and Janie Cribb Eaddy. She was a member of Little Lamb Pentecostal Holiness Church. Sarah was a retired line operator for Wellman Industries who loved flower gardens, visiting the mountains and the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Ralph) Poston, Charlene (Allen) McDaniel, and Myrna Feaster; son, Russell Dean Thompson; sister, Beth Stone; brother-in-law, Terry Stewart; sister-in-law, Shelby Eaddy; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; one niece; and several nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Neil Thompson, Jr.; sisters, Wanda Stewart and Louise Wagner; and brothers, J.C. Eaddy and Andy Eaddy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2020, from 2 PM to 3 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.

Funeral services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 3 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S Georgetown Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
