Shawn Foster Marlowe, 48, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at home.

Shawn was born in Lake City, SC, a son of Foster "Cotton" Marlowe and Brenda Cox Marlowe. He was a welder, enjoyed fishing, playing golf, watching NASCAR, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Marlowe, parents, Foster "Cotton" and Brenda Marlowe; grandchildren, Jeremiah Singletary, Chadwick Cuttino, and Nolan Cuttino; brother, Ryan Marlowe; sisters, Rita McGee and Melissa Ard; 4 nieces and 13 great nieces and nephews; special friends, Kenny and Judy Wallace.

He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Lexton McGee; special friend, Sommer Wallace.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the Word of Life Church, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM in the Word of Life Church, 942 S. Clayfield Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202
