Sherry Stone Baxley, 64, wife of Johnny Baxley, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, February 26, 2018 at her home after a brief illness.

Mrs. Sherry was born in Pamplico, SC, a daughter of the late Cedrey and Annie Mae Poston Stone. She worked in the Tax Auditors Office in Lake City and prior to that she was a secretary at Wellman Industries for many years. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed quite time and reading.

Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Johnny Baxley; daughters, Annie Wade and Samantha (Wynn) Cox; grandchildren, Wilmer Wade III, Hannah Wade, Tyson Cox, and Adam Cox; brothers, Ralph (Martha) Stone, Sr. and James (Dee) Stone; sisters, Donnie Mae Coker, Patricia (Ray) Prosser, and Debbie (Mac) Turbeville; a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Gwendolyn "Wendy" Jordan; son-in-law, Wilmer Wade, II; brothers-in-law, Muldrow Coker and John Jordan.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
