Shirley Stone Todd, 78, widow of George Mack Todd, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 in a Kingstree hospital after an illness.

Mrs. Shirley was born in Hannah, SC, a daughter of the late Carlie Demris and Jessie Poston Stone. She was the former owner and operator of Lake City Manufacturing Co. and attended the Browns Chapel United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing dominos with her sisters, watching baseball and golf, working for the church, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her children.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Todd and Myra Todd; sisters, Jessie Mae Garnett, Betty Hanna, and Dottie Lyerly; brothers, James L. "Buddy" (Gail) Stone and Randy "Shag" (Gloria) Stone.

She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Powell and brothers, Hayward Stone and Edward Stone.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.
