Stacy Edward Cox, 82 of Georgetown, SC, passed away after a long illness on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Carolina Gardens of Conway. He was loved and cared for by his daughter, Tina Williams (Derek), step-daughter, Angela Sisk (Dewey), and his grandchildren/great grandchildren.
Born in Georgetown, SC on December 27, 1936, he was the son of Cornell and Willie Wilder Cox.
Stacy was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School. He retired from Johnson Control Service Company as a Pneumatics Controller Technician. He was also the owner of Cox's Service Co., Inc. and Coweta Mechanical. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed raising and running fox and deer hounds as well as farming in Rose Hill. His hobbies included watching Nascar and Atlanta Braves Baseball. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Stacy is predeceased by his parents; his stepfather, Franklin Pierce; sister, Floretta C. Tyler (Allen); and his late wife, Esta Cox.

Visitation will be at 2:30 p.m. with the service immediately following at 4:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Baptist Church, 4572 Rose Hill Road, Georgetown, SC, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
