Stephanie Marie Stone, 50, passed away at MUSC Health Florence on September 28, 2023 after a brief illness.

Ms. Stone was born in Florence, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Charles Legrande Stone and Betty Carter McClam.  She enjoyed going to the beach and shopping.

She is survived by her children, Pacey Stone and Jenna Stone; her mother, Betty Carter McClam and father-figure, Jackie McClam; a grand-daughter, Kylen Stone; brothers, Charles Jeffrey (Lisa) Stone and Daniel (Nicole) Stone; several nieces and nephews; and fur-baby, Bella.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be held in the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery located at 4221 Sheminally Road, Pamplico, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel located at 416 N Main Street, Hemingway, SC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
