Sue Carol Prosser Poston, 89, widow of Kirby Poston, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Poston was born in Pamplico, SC, a daughter of the late Joseph Otwell and Grace Lenora Collins Prosser. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at Hannah Elementary her entire career. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Whether it was gardening or just being around her animals, she enjoyed the outdoors. but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kerri Bourne; grandchildren, Cory (Katrina ) Renyard, Amy Renyard, Thomas Bourne, and Hunter Bourne; great-grandchildren, Hannah Renyard, Ava Secrist, and Liam Secrist.

She was predeceased by a sister, Grace Anna Prosser.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2021, in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery, 1101 W. Hwy 378 Hannah, Pamplico, SC 29583.
