Thalmer Abrams, 89, widower of Louise Woodberry Abrams, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Thalmer was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Johnny and Docia E. Poston Abrams. He was a US Air Force veteran, a member of the Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of Johnsonville High School.

He is survived by his children, Robert Thalmer Abrams, Phyllis A. (Mike) Foster; grandchildren, Heather Foster and Chelsea Wierszewski.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Renee Wierszewski; brothers, Avery M. Abrams, Hansel U. Abrams, Merrill Abrams, and Delmus E. Abrams; sisters, Eul Dean Richardson and Margie Lou Poston.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Janaury 22, 2020, in the Lawrimore Memorial Cemetery, 2299 Muddy Creek Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
