Theola Matthews Cooper,76, widow of Donald H. Cooper, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in a Florence hospital.

Mrs. Theola was born in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late Wilson and Christebelle Poston Matthews. She was a retired Team Leader for Tupperware and was a member of Hemingway First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and loved spoiling the grand kids.

Surviving are her sons, Donald Legrande (Pam) Cooper and Randy (Claudia) Cooper; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole, Bryce, and Justin.; great-grandchildren, Aubree and Aadyn; sister, Bobbie Jean Causey; brothers, Johnny Matthews and Jimmy Matthews; predeceased by two brothers.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home, will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
