Theora Perry Venters, 98, widow of Sam Venters, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in a Kingstree nursing center.

Mrs. Venters was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Grady and Meddie Altman Perry. She was a homemaker and attended Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Jim Venters; daughters, Jean DeCamps, Iris (Jakey) Altman and Terry Lynn Venters; sister, Velma Miller; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Randy Venters; daughters, Linda Cribb and Ginger Griffin.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the New Hope Church Cemetery, 719 New Hope Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
