Hemingway, SC

Thomas A. "Shot" Cameron, 76, widower of Catherine "Della" Cameron, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at the McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Shot was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Johnnie Jessie and Vera Thompson Cameron. He was the owner of Shot's Taxidermy, a member and former deacon of Midway Baptist Church, and was a member of the Leo Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Lynn (Keith) Thompson, Will (Pam) Cameron, Jessie (Libby) Haselden, Tony McDonald, Terry (Russell) Tucker, Tammy (Richard) Lee, and Tina (Timmy) Cox; brother, Ira "Buddy" (Nell) Cameron; sisters, Minnie Ruth "Sissy" Martindale, Nora (Steve) Coker, and Alma "Cootie" (Lonza) Hayes; 23 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 8, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, with full Masonic Rites, will be in the Eaddy-Ford Cemetery, 481 S. Eaddy Ford Rd, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, December 8, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
