Timothy Cole Morris, 59, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at his home.

Timmy was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Grady Cole and Mary Elizabeth Godwin Morris. He was a welder and pipe fitter for Mace Mechanical in Johnsonville, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Timmy loved baseball. In addition to winning a state championship in Pony League in 1977, he was a member of the first Johnsonville High School baseball state championship team in 1980 as well as a state champion in football.

He is survived by Dianne Morris; his son, Cole Vander Morris; and his sister, Lynn Morris (Keith) Taylor.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Bradford Leighton Morris and Scotty Morris.

Memorial services will be held 3 PM Saturday, September 24, 2022, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM till 3PM prior to the service.
