Trent Jon Smith, 42, husband of Joye Bazen Smith, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 in the McLeod Hospice House.Trent was born in Florence, SC, a son of Clarence and Marilyn Miller Smith. He worked as a saw operator in construction and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his flower beds, riding his golf cart, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joye Bazen Smith; children, Trinity, Trenton, Cabot, and Temperance; parents, Clarence and Marilyn Smith; brothers, D. J. (Laura) Smith and Paxton (Robin) Smith; a number of nieces and nephews and 3 special great nephews.He was predeceased by a sister, Melinda Smith.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in the Prospect United Methodist Church.
