Wanda Olivia Thompson Poston, 55, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at her home.

Wanda was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of Daniel Webster Thompson and Linda Louetta Altman Hughes. She worked at the Shady Rest in Johnsonville and was a member of the Twin City Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with crafts, a gifted jewelry maker, but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Erin (Chase) Tyler, Jami (Charles) Foxworth, and Carly (Elijah) Ward; mother, Linda Altman Hughes; father and step-mother, Daniel and Brenda Thompson; sister, Michelle (Buck) Powell; grandchildren, Chris Foxworth, Matt Foxworth, Olivia Ward, and Eli Ward; step-sister, Belinda Whitehead; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jean Turner; step father, Robert Hughes.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 22, 2020 in the Eaddy Ford Cemetery, 481 S. Eaddy Ford Rd., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Sunday, November 22, 2020 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
