William Henry "Bill" Miles, 87, widower of Barbara Faye Suthoff Miles, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 in a Florence hospital.

Mr. Bill was born in Creole, MS, a son of the late Rufus L. and Emma Grace Nehrig Miles. He was retired from Wellman Industries as a Maintenance Superintendent, a member of the Johnsonville United Methodist Church and the Lions Club. He enjoyed flying and building radio controlled planes.

Surviving is his daughter, Cheryl Helms (Frank) Bolyn; grandchildren, Lauren Helms (Jason) Harrah, Morgan Blythe Helms, William H. "Will" Miles, III, Michael Christopher Miles; great-grandchildren, William Badyn Nettles, Sophia Harrah, Katherine Harrah; daughter-in-law, Melanie Miles.
He was predeceased by a son, William Henry "Bill" Miles, II.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Johnsonville United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Johnsonville United Methodist Church, 240 N. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnsonville United Methodist Church, PO Box 449, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
