Hemingway, SC

William Edward Kinder, 64, husband of Veronica "Missy" Gabella Kinder, passed away Saturday February 6, 2021 in a Georgetown hospital.

William was born in Cades, SC, a son of the late Donald Kinder and the late Carolyn Buddin Kinder Kirby. He was a Site Superintendent for the Brown and Root Industrial Contractors at the BP Chemical Company in Charleston, SC and was a member of Center Baptist Church.

He enjoyed fishing, caring for his animals, working in his vegetable garden and doing yard work, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Veronica "Missy" Gabella Kinder; children, Tammie Kinder (Brooks)  McCutchen, Vera Nicole Kinder (Charles)  Godwin, and William Daniel (Karen) Kinder; mother and father-in-law, Rut (Don) Gabella; brother, Johnny (Kay) Kinder; sisters, Theressa McKissick, Doris Ann (Harry) Dennis, and Jeanette Crawford; grandchildren, Kelby Gunnar McCutchen and Taylor (Josh) McCrea; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by step-father, Buck Kirby; brother, Alvin Kinder; brother-in-law, Paul McKissick.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private and Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC is assisting the family.
