WILLIAM HARMON SWINTZ, IV

William Harmon Swintz, IV, 38, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home.

William was born in Charleston, SC, a son of William Harmon Swintz, III and the late Willa Jeannette Hanna Swintz. He attended Friendship Baptist Church in Gresham, SC.

He was a graduate of Lake City High School where he played basketball and was Captain of the soccer team and while in high school, he developed a love for drawing. He then went on to receive an Associate Degree in Drafting Engineering from Florence Darlington Technical College and also attended Liberty, College of Charleston, Emanuel and Florida Community College.

He is survived by his father, William Harmon Swintz, III; aunts, Pam (Ed) Freeman, Jan (Craig) Howard, and Penny (Kelvin) Crimminger; uncle, Evan (Hope) Hanna; 10 cousins.

Graveside services, directed by Morris funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the Souls Chapel Cemetery, Gresham, SC.
